5 Years of GeoCaching

Well, the clock has struck midnight and I can now officially say that I have been caching for 5 years!

I logged my first cache on June 2, 2002 - Lenore Caves. I have not been as active this past year and a half but hope to make up for that — will have to see what life allows :)

Mostly want to say thanks to all the good folks I have met while doing this. Top honors go to the long-lost Sluggo who started what is now the gcsewa get-togethers and has moved to Birmingham, Alabama (someone has to live there, glad it is not me).

And of course kudos to those who challenge me each time I go out with GPS in hand because they were kind enough to take the time, effort, and expense to hide some of the easiest, cleverest, hardest, and yes, most despicable caches for me to find!

Here is to you all — lets go out and have fun hunting the elusive tupperware.
