Bad Behavior Stats

I have been running Bad Behavior for a couple of months now and you always wonder if it is really doing anything. Being a noob with Linux, PHP, and mySQL I don’t often go look in the database that Bad Behavior keeps that would give me this info.

Enter the Bad Behavior Stats plugin. The plugin allows you to place a little stats line in your WordPress blog showing how many spambot access attempts were blocked by Bad Behavior.

I am amazed. As I write this the stats line on the bottom of my page is showing:

Bad Behavior has blocked 465 access attempts in the last 7 days.

465! Makes me want to go look at that database to see if I can figure out who all these spaminators and harvesters are! Instead I am just glad I am not having to delete 2 dozen poker ads every day :)
