Best Perks - Besides a Paycheck

Ok, you get a nice paycheck, you like your job and your boss likes you, but what else do you get? Ok, health insurance and a 401k plan if you are lucky.

Money Magazine lists some great perks, like this one from New Belgium Brewing, makers of Fat Tire Amber Ale.

Employees at New Belgium Brewing in Fort Collins, Colo. receive a case of beer a week, which the company does not recommend they drink while riding the bike (like the one on the label of NBB’s Fat Tire Amber Ale) that they get after a year on the job. After five years, they go to Belgium to sample the brews that inspired the company’s creation.

So, a case of beer a week, a Fat Tire bicycle after a year, and a trip to Belgium after 5 years. That is cool!

The article lists some of the other “extreme” benefits that some get. Now I need to figure out what kind of benefits my company should give? hmmmm.
