Bible+ Palm Software

Status: Installed
Version: 3.1.11

Bible+ is a free (GPL -licensed) Bible reader for Palm OS. Because I have the room on my 1G SD card I have quite a few files available to Palm Bible. Bible Versions that are installed include KJV, NASB, NIV, NKJV, and Spanish Reina-Valera Bible 1909. Commentaries installed include Barnes NT Notes, Adam Clarke’s Commentary on the Bible, John Gill’s Exosition of the Bible, NA26/27 Greek New Testament, Famieson Fausset Brown (JFB) Commentary, Matthew Henry’s Compete Commentary, and Robertson’s Word Pictures in the NT.

Features that I have found useful are:

  • Support for external dictionary lookup
  • Multiple term in verse search
  • Graffiti gestures for incrementing/decrementing the current verse
  • Better chapter/verse selector
  • Cross-references (double-tap the verse number)
  • Notes page for fast notetaking (with export to MemoPad)
  • Built-in languages: Hebrew, Accented Greek,
  • Copy word/verse/screen to clipboard
  • Extensive Graffiti shortcuts
  • Dual Version Display

It was a long time ago now - but I am pretty sure I used the conversion utility that is available on some bible files I had. I also have full versions of both the NASB and NIV in Plucker with paragraphs that I enjoy reading more than the verse format of Palm Bible+

Sorry am not of more help.
