Similar to the constable in charge of the Watch of Messina, I try to be sincere and try take writing seriously but fear I will use the wrong words to convey my thoughts and that my desire to speak eloquently will become an occasion for parody.

Now that is frugal living. Mind if I share it on our conomize community website? Trying to keep a straight face without cracking up. Our users are frugal but I doubt they would jump at the chance to eat monkey chow, lol

Save six hundred dollars a month? On one person's diet? The food budget for our family of four is about $130 a month, and that's still way above a "beans and rice" diet. What was this guy eating before Monkey Chow came along - filet mignon and caviar? I'm assuming it wasn't TV dinners, since he does mention scrubbing pots and pans and washing dishes (implying that he was actually preparing something). But for a dollar a meal, I can eat pretty darn good food designed for humans. Sheesh!

I love how he does this all with such a straight face. Man, I was in tears from laughing so hard while watching the video. Maybe because it reminds me all too much of my own bachelor diet. ;-)

I have to agree! I had to stifle my laughs to keep from waking everyone in the house. The sorry thing is that I was almost tempted until I watched him actually try it.
