Anybody know of a good place to buy a new replacement LG Lithium Ion Battery 3.7V 1000mAh? My experience is that buying batteries online is a bad thing. They usually don’t last. thanks!

Hey I have an lg phone and am trying 2 download my pictures to my computer using bitpim. But i have tryed everything, and i think i have the reason. Everywhere i go it says i need driver software but it didnt come with my usb cable and the store said i didnt need software so im confused, what i was wondering is there any site u can downdload this driver software? If u could get back 2 me that would be awsome thank u! and i hope u other people get ur questions solved. – Confused personal

I am thinking about getting a data cable and using BitPim for it, and I really just need it so that I can transfer my Outlook calendar onto my phone for appointments and such. Does anyone know if this can be done on the LG VX 6100? Thanks.

I have tried all of these things and I still cannot get BitPim to detect my phone. I am getting so frustrated! I can’t get my short MP3′s to my phone and it’s pissing me off. I know BitPim works for my phone, becuase I’ve seen posts about it all over the internet and I got it because someone I know recommended it for my phone, even though it’s not on the list!!! Someone tell me how I can get the files to my phone!!!!!!!!

Couple things i have found using the usb cable that has made it say 'detect the phone'

The usb drivers were not installed and/or installed properly.*get newest ones
The phone was not securely connected to the usb cable.*wiggle it around and see if you can get it to pick the phone up . As for the ringtones, well, the phone says it can not play mp3 ringtones ... but it can and bitpim will allow you to put them in your phone. I personally use MAGIX Ringtone Maker (am sure there are many more good ones out there that do the same thing), to cut peices/parts out of the mp3's i have on my harddrive (literally make your own ringtones) shooting for about 30 to 45seconds for each ringtone. *it is possible to put a whole song in but that will not allow for many, if any, other things that use that memory

My cable came with software drivers – the cable appears to have some circuitry enclosed in a small package in the middle of the cable to translate LG to Windows.

I just bought the Verizon "Mobile Office Kit" for the data cable in it that would hopefully allow me to download the pictures in my phone to my computer. However, I read somewhere that the cable in the Mobile Office Kit is not really a data cable (even though the kit also contains software for managing your cellphone's phone book, so go figure). Can you tell me if your data cable is the one from the Mobile Office Kit? Also, is there anything else you need besides the data cable and the bitpim software to download pictures?

To set it to vibrate only, you can also use the volume buttons on the side of the phone…..With the phone closed just hold the down button and it will show Manner Mode on your screen and to change it back to ring just hold it again and it will return to Normal Mode! It will not work with the phone open…it has to be closed.
